Ocarina Networks was a finalist for the prestigious Best in Show award at BIO IT World 2009. In his keynote address, Chris Dagdigian "delivered a candid assessment of the best, the worthwhile, and the most overhyped information technologies (IT) for life sciences." Ocarina, he said, is an example of the type of technology that more and more companies are taking note of as they begin to recognize the value of some third party software to manage the increasing data loads created by the life sciences.
