Job Description:

Ocarina is looking for an experienced software engineer to develop, maintain and enhance the test suite used for automated testing of Ocarina’s Storage Reduction Switches. You will work closely with the development team to ensure testability is factored in product design. In addition to automating tests, you will also develop tools and utilities to aid debugging, servicing and maintenance of the technology.

Responsibilities:

• Create feature test plans
• Automate test execution
• Support trouble shooting of internal and field issues
• Advocate process enhancements to improve product quality

Required Skills

• Demonstrable expertise in creating automated test frameworks
• Expert in Perl programming language
• Good knowledge of Linux application programming environment including experience with shell/C programming
• Experience with NAS products, Unix system administration, networking is a plus
• Demonstrated track record of being a key contributor on successful products
• Startup experience is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education Required

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science from a reputable university
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience
